The business unit Trade Facilitation Services helps government authorities of importing countries to ensure that imported goods meet local standards and regulations, correctly determine import duties and fees, and facilitate trade. Daily, they create certificates for their export shipments to Africa and the Middle East for many clients. These certificates show that the goods to be sent meet local standards and are necessary for importing the goods locally. Different procedures and requirements apply for each client and each country of destination.
You maintain contact with the client and guide the certification process by timely requesting the correct documents and ensuring that related registrations remain valid so that there are no delays in exports. We work closely with the SGS certification unit that conducts the substantive review of the applications. We are the link between the client and this unit. Of course, it helps if you can and want to occasionally delve into the content!
For this position, you must have at least MBO-4/HBO work and thinking level and have +- 3 years of experience in the logistics sector or as a customer service representative (B2B). You also have good knowledge of both Dutch and English languages.
