Our business line Natural Resources - Oil, Gas & Chemicals conducts port-bound inspections, controls, and analyses in the oil and petrochemical industry. The activities mainly consist of performing quantitative and qualitative inspections and analyses on a wide range of liquid petroleum/petrochemical products.

Do you know how to transform customer orders into laboratory orders? Do you have an ultimate feeling for analysis proposals and pricing agreements? If so, we are looking for you!

As a Customer Service Medewerker Analytical Services, you are the link between the customers and the laboratory. Analytical Services is the laboratory group that deals with all non-routine analyses, overflow analyses from other laboratories, and projects. In this role, you maintain daily contact with customers, by phone and email. You translate the requirements and wishes of customers into an assignment while taking into account the possibilities of the department. You convert this assignment into a work order, adjust existing work orders, and create work orders for ad-hoc assignments.

What else you will do if you work with us as a Customer Service Medewerker:

• Assess routine and new orders in consultation with the laboratory
• Provide timely, complete, and correct reporting of results to the client
• Communicate an analysis proposal, price offer, or pricing agreement to the client
• Manage client data, appointments, and agreed service packages
• Answer and/or research complex customer issues in consultation with sales managers and technical specialists

You work in day shifts. Some irregularity in your working hours is normal, once a week every 3 weeks you have one week of on-call service and are available for emergencies.

Functie-eisen

You have a service-oriented approach and good proficiency in Dutch and English.

We would like to see the following on your CV:

• Completed education mlo-4 (chemistry direction)
• HBO work and thinking level
• Work experience as a Chemical Analyst in the petroleum or petrochemical field is preferred
