Job Description
Primary requirements:
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards (FDA, EFSA, SFDA, GCC, local municipality regulations) & other local regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) regulations, UAE Food Law, Cosmetics regulations, EU CosIng, SFDA (Saudi Food and Drug Authority) etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and compliance management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage compliance issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's /Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, Food technology Engineering or related field.
- Certifications in food safety or cosmetic regulations (optional but beneficial)
- 1-3 years of experience in food safety, cosmetic regulation, or quality assurance.
- Experience with laboratory testing, product safety assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Strong understanding of GMP, ISO, and regulatory compliance in the Middle East.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic would be an advantage
