The Enterprise Architecture Team sits within our pre-sales organization and plays a strategic role in developing and evangelizing cross-functional architecture strategies for our most complex and regulated customers. Focused on our largest Financial Services clients—including banks, insurers, wealth managers, and superannuation funds—this role supports the platform vision and co-creates long-term roadmaps that solve for security, compliance, risk, and operational efficiency at scale.
What You Get to Do in This Role
· Collaborate with banking, insurance, and financial institutions to define platform architecture and transformation roadmaps across IT, risk, operations, front-office and shared services.
· Partner with CxOs, Chief Architects, and digital leaders to align ServiceNow's platform capabilities with their enterprise modernization goals including:
– AI Transformation
– Core banking digitization
– Risk and compliance automation (CPS 230, APRA, Basel III)
– Customer service transformation
– KYC, AML, and onboarding workflows
– Operational resilience and business continuity
· Lead cross-domain architecture engagements covering:
– ITSM, ITOM, SecOps
– GRC/IRM and ESG reporting
– Customer Service Management (CSM) for contact centre transformation
– Vendor and procurement workflows
· Integration with cloud, core banking, data lakes, and ERP ecosystems
· Create compelling architecture artefacts including industry reference models, solution blueprints, and executive presentations.
· Drive co-innovation projects with customers and partners across risk automation, AI in compliance, intelligent document processing, and customer journey orchestration.
· Contribute to industry-specific enablement content, such as whitepapers, workshops, and solution accelerators for financial services.
· Collaborate with global industry teams, product management, and sales leadership to shape the roadmap for ServiceNow's financial services offerings.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need
· 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, pre-sales, or consulting roles, with 5+ years focused on the Financial Services sector.
· Deep understanding of banking or insurance technology ecosystems, including:
– Core systems (e.g., Temenos, FIS, Hogan, Guidewire)
– Digital channels and CRM
– Regulatory technology (RegTech)
– APRA and ASIC compliance expectations
· Familiarity with risk management frameworks, including:
– APRA Prudential Standards (CPS 230, CPS 234)
– Operational Resilience and Basel III
– SOX, IFRS, AML/KYC frameworks
· Understanding of Agentic AI systems, including goal-directed agents, orchestration layers, and workflow delegation models.
· Experience with enterprise frameworks such as TOGAF, IT4IT, COBIT, BIAN, and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
· Strong architectural expertise in cloud-native platforms, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
· Experience engaging with technology and risk stakeholders across CIO, CRO, COO, and CISO domains.
· Ability to articulate business value with confidence and communicate complex solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
· Passion for transforming legacy financial environments into scalable, secure, and data-driven service models.
· Understanding of ServiceNow Products and Solutions would be advantageous but not essential
