Job Description
We are seeking a renewals sales leader to lead our EMEA South Renewals organization. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving the retention and growth of our existing customer base through strategic renewal execution. As the Director of Renewals, you will partner closely with regional Sales leadership to design and operationalize a cohesive renewals sales strategy that supports our enterprise customers and delivers sustainable recurring revenue.
Renewals are the lifeblood of our SaaS business, and we are looking for a leader who can champion a high-performing renewals motion, elevate team capability, and deliver against retention and upsell targets while fostering strong cross-functional alignment across Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.
What you get to do in this role:
- Own and lead the EMEA South renewals sales strategy, driving accountability for achieving retention and growth targets across the region.
- Partner with EMEA Renewals leadership to align strategy, share best practices, and standardize renewal processes across regions.
- Build and lead a renewals sales team, providing clear role definition, coaching, and performance management to achieve business outcomes.
- Work hand-in-hand with Account Sales leadership to ensure seamless engagement on renewals and alignment with overall account planning.
- Drive operational excellence by partnering with Sales Ops to track performance, uncover trends, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Enable the team with sales methodologies, negotiation support, and deal coaching to increase win rates and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Professional Services, Alliances, and Customer Success to maximize expansion opportunities at the point of renewal.
- Contribute to the design of global renewals programs that elevate performance, consistency, and employee engagement across the wider organization.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- 10+ years of experience in renewals, sales, or customer success leadership, with a track record of success in SaaS or subscription-based models.
- 3+ years managing high-performing teams or second-line leaders in a commercial environment.
- Proven ability to scale and optimize renewals sales organizations.
- Deep understanding of the enterprise software buying journey, including negotiation, value realization, and retention drivers.
- Experience building employee programs to drive engagement and performance.
