The Re-Engagement Planning Advisor is responsible for learning the industry, products, product finance / insurance options (trust), services, as well as use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales software and proprietary contracting software. Responsibilities include completing a training program which requires successfully complete course work, passing exams, and demonstrating the appropriate skills to begin fulfilling the following responsibilities. Compassionate and results-driven sales representative to actively set appointments and engage prospective clients with purchasing pre-planned funeral services as well as pre-planned cemetery/mausoleum property to meet their personal and cultural needs. Take pride in service excellence and a technology rich company to support revenue quota achievement.
Develop trusting relationships with prospective and existing client families to generate sales leads. Updating prospective client contact information and detailed notes in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales system.
Take initiative to contact prospective clients and schedule sales appointments to meet prospective clients' schedules, including evenings and weekends.
Appointments made at customers' residences, Dignity Memorial locations, or virtually.
Applying listening and empathy skills facilitates prospective client through the pre-planning process and selection of services and property that most appropriately meet their needs. Explains insurance (trust) product features. Completes sales and insurance (trust) contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Utilize CRM software to continually source leads from campaigns, prospective clients, and prior client sales to develop a sales pipeline.
Coordinates sales efforts with team members and other departments as appropriate.
Seek out a manager's coaching to improve sales cycle, sales techniques, software proficiency, and product knowledge.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses:
Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license as required by the state/province
Current state/province-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Experience:
Sales or Customer experience preferred
Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales systems preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite
Proficient computer skills with CRM and Social Networking Apps preferred
Professional demeanor and communication skills
Bilingual, knowledge of another language preferred
Professional attire required when meeting with clients or representing the company
Available to work evenings and weekends
Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
Comply with Corporate dress code policy
Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, including paperwork, calculators, computers, and phone usage
Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises
Target Compensation Range: $50,000 to $100,000 annually. The estimated total target compensation for this position in the first year typically ranges from $50,000 to $100,000 annually based on a strong commission-based incentive structure. In subsequent years, sales professionals commonly earn $100,000 to $150,000 or more annually. Actual compensation will vary based on individual performance, geographic location, and applicable business conditions.
