Sentara Health is currently seeking a Patient Services Representative in the Emergency Department at our Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.
Hours/Shift: 10am-10pm, 3 shifts per week

Position Overview: As a Patient Services Rep with Sentara, you will assist and interact with patients and visitors to provide information in response to inquiries about services. You will find that teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for our patients. Primarily stationed in the Emergency Department (ED) Waiting Room assisting patients and visitors on arrival to the ED. Prepares and directs patients to ambulatory triage locations. Explains and reinforces ED processes and procedures for patients and visitors in the waiting room. Provides excellent customer service and functions as a liaison to the clinical team. Performs rounding on patients in the waiting room offering basic comfort measures.
