Laboratory Support Technician

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a laboratory support technician to work full time days in the Transfusion Department (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday 0600-1630).

As a laboratory support technician duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff and/or pathologists. Performs instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Biology or Chemistry
