Sentara Health Plans is hiring a Patient Services Coordinator - Remote in Virginia Beach, VA! This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours) with standard working hours of 8am to 5pm EST, M-F. The hybrid position in Virginia Beach, VA will include visits to members in the emergency department or IP hospital settings in the VA Beach area approx 1x a week, and the rest of the time will be working from home.
This position will be responsible for assisting members with locating new providers if current providers move out of network, close or have to end services for some other reason. The position will also help call members who have received service denials and help link them with the recommended services by the doctor. They will also be responsible for administrative tasks as assigned.
