Job Description
This position is accountable and responsible for automated testing and quality assurance for software systems, with a focus on developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines. This position is accountable and responsible for testing and quality assurance for software designed specifically to configure and operate a hardware device.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Analyze and report automated test results, track defects, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure test automation is integrated from the start.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- A minimum BS degree (or equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, information engineering, or electrical engineering.
Skills Needed:
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in the testing.
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance Lifecycle and software development lifecycle, with emphasis on automation practices.
- Experience in automated testing of web and desktop applications using tools such as Selenium, PyTest, or similar.
- Experience with browser DevTools and ability to automate validation of Console, Network, and Application tab outputs.
- Experience with Atlassian products and integration of test automation results into tools like Jira, Confluence, XRay/Testrail.
- Ability to create/maintain automated test scripts and related documentation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python to develop and maintain automated test suites.

- Knowledge of Oil & Gas Industry products and services.
- Familiarity with basic Dev-Ops (Jenkins, bitbucket pipelines, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience working with controllers and RTUs
