Senior Sales Manager / Sales Director (Germany)

Are you a proven Sales Leader ready to take ownership of major OEM relationships and accelerate strategic growth across Germany's dynamic semiconductor market?

Semtech is seeking a Senior Sales Manager / Sales Director (Germany) to join our EMEA ICs Go-To-Market team — a talented and passionate group driving customer engagement, revenue growth, and innovation across Europe.

This is a senior commercial leadership position offering both strategic influence and C-level visibility. You'll develop and execute impactful sales strategies, expand our footprint with major German OEM customers, and lead cross-functional initiatives that drive design wins and sustainable growth across the region.

Your Impact:

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy aligned with corporate and regional objectives
  • Build and manage a high-value sales pipeline, identifying and closing complex opportunities in Germany
  • Establish and maintain trusted C-level and senior executive relationships across major OEMs
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, driving alignment across internal stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to craft winning proposals
  • Drive and align channel partners and distributors in Germany through regular reviews, training, and business development initiatives
  • Deliver 10%+ above-market growth by combining strategic insight with hands-on commercial execution

What You Bring:

  • 10–20 years of success in semiconductor sales, ideally within an OEM environment
  • Proven success managing major OEM accounts in Germany
  • Demonstrated ability to build and influence C-level relationships and lead complex strategic negotiations
  • Strong business development and origination skills, with a track record of opening and growing major accounts
  • Leadership capability — whether as a Senior Sales Manager or Sales Director operating in a matrixed, global environment
  • Excellent business acumen, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools
  • Fluent in English and German

Desirable:

  • Experience in selling wireless semiconductor solutions is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Industrial, IoT, and Telecom sectors in Germany
  • Understanding of AI and broader semiconductor market dynamics
  • MBA or equivalent business qualification
