International Account Manager (Export)

We are looking for an international account manager for the most unique coffee concept that exists. Do you have experience or affinity for working with coffee brands and are you familiar with the international market? Then that is great, read on!

At Pelican Rouge Coffee Roasters, it is all about extraordinary coffee experiences and high-quality products. As specialists in roasting and packaging fresh coffee, we strive for perfection. Sustainability is an important aspect in all our developments. With private label solutions, our customers distinguish themselves and create their own story. We control the entire process, from sourcing to quality controls. In addition, we are experts in instant products and suppliers of ingredients for coffee capsules. With customer references worldwide, we work closely together in the industry, retail, vending, and catering.

What You Will Do

As a hub between the departments of New Product Development, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance, you will work closely together on convincing proposals that help customers to be successful. In this role, you will:

  • Build positive relationships with existing customers and actively explore new business opportunities within the international market.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals that respond to the customer's needs and align with the objectives.
  • Negotiate price terms with your customers.
  • Analyze feedback to identify improvement points for products or services.
  • Identify trends in customer purchasing behavior and proactively respond to them.
  • Manage large customers by consistently providing a high level of service. Ultimately, you will be responsible for a portfolio of approximately 10 million.
  • Develop long-term strategies to promote customer retention.

Who Are You?

To be successful in this role, you have excellent communication skills with a strong focus on building customer relationships. You have a proven track record in developing win-win solutions for both existing and potential customers. You are also able to think strategically when solving problems and have an eye for detail in improving customer service initiatives. You understand supply chain management and have excellent negotiation and analytical skills.

Further:

  • Full-time availability.
  • Preferably relevant higher education diploma.
  • Can easily switch between different cultures and feel free to be yourself and adapt if needed.
  • Willing to travel, both within and outside Europe.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English in speech and writing. Mastery of Italian, Spanish, French, or another language is a bonus.
