We are looking for a Process Engineer Leader who will join our Energy/O&G team and support a major Client.

The Process Engineer Leader is responsible for managing process activities in an executive project (EPC or Task Force). They will coordinate, develop, and verify process engineering, meeting requirements, integrating other disciplines, and supporting Project Management, Procurement, and the Construction team.

If assigned to non-EPC executive projects, the PSL will also provide tutoring and training to younger colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Define the modalities of process engineering development (planning, resources, tools).
• Verify contractual documentation and report any anomalies to the Project Engineering Manager (PEM).
• Manage the development of process engineering, respecting timelines and budget.
• Participate in coordination activities, monitoring project status and variations.
• Monitor hours allocated to the project and report any deviations from budget and planning.
• Coordinate discipline resources, including any sub-contractors.
• Apply methodologies and tools for calculation, simulation, modeling, and process data management.
• Prepare comprehensive and correct discipline documents (H&MB, PFD, P&ID), respecting timelines.
• Support other disciplines in multidisciplinary work (Data Sheet, TBE Vendors, Lists, Multidisciplinari Reviews).
• Collaborate with Project Management, Procurement, and Construction to support the project.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering / Energy or Chemical Industrial Engineering (or Technical Diploma or equivalent training);
• Experience in the role of at least 3 years (or as a Process Specialist for 10 years) within Engineering & Contracting companies operating in the Oil & Gas sector (Offshore – Up Stream is a plus);
• Knowledge of English and Italian (European Level B2-C1);
• Basic knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Office);
• Excellent knowledge and mastery of simulation software (Hysys, ProII, ProMax, etc.).
