We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with experience in Avionics, Defense or Space to join our team and support important innovative projects in the Aerospace and Defence sector.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Software lifecycle and experience in Embedded Software design and development, Real-time in the above-mentioned sectors.

Location: La Spezia, Full-time, On-site

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in designing and developing SW Embedded architectures with and without Real time Operating Systems
• Knowledge of C/C++ programming languages, including Object Oriented Programming constructs
• Knowledge of safety standards in the above-mentioned sectors (e.g. DO-178, MISRA rules, MIL) is a plus
• Experience in developing and simulating with Matlab/Simulink
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation for software debugging (Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)
• Experience in software testing, verification, and validation
• Experience in writing documentation and reporting (requirement specifications, technical specifications, test plan/test report)
• Good knowledge of English and fluent in Italian
• Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to work within assigned deadlines
