Location: Rome, Full-time, On-site

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with experience in Avionics, Defense or Space sectors who will join our team and support important innovative projects in the Aerospace and Defence field.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Software lifecycle and experience in the design and development of Embedded Software in the above-mentioned sectors.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent University degree
• Proven experience in the design and development of SW Embedded architectures
• Knowledge of C/C++ languages, operating systems VxWorks, Linux
• Knowledge of Petalinux/Xilinx environment and Kernel space programming will be considered a plus
• Desired knowledge of safety standards of the above-mentioned sectors (e.g. DO-178, MISRA rules, MIL)
• Experience in software testing, verification and validation
• Experience in the drafting of documentation and reporting (requirement specifications, technical specifications, test plan/test report)
• Good knowledge of English and fluent in Italian
• Analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to work within the assigned deadlines
