About the job

Reporting into the RVP for our Twilio Communications BU, This position is needed to lead our Rest of Europe Strategic Accounts Team. The right person for this role is a go-getter, who wants to develop and identify new revenue opportunities with new enterprise logos and within our Strategic Accounts.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Build and Manage a High Performing Team of Account Executives that manage our existing and largest accounts across EMEA.
  • Coach and lead a team to Identify and close  Cross Sell and Upsell Opportunities across the entire portfolio of Twilio Comms BU Products.
  • Enable and coach your team around how to engage across every customer segment (Growth, Mid Market and Enterprise).
  • Collaborate with your team and internal cross-functional teams, to identify Gross Profit within an account and how to increase Gross Profit through Price Management and Cross Sell where possible.
  • Talk with  strategic customers, where you spend time learning about their needs, and then through consultation, develop a strategic plan to help their service thrive through the use of Twilio’s communication platform.
  • Forecast your team overachieving on their goals, and deftly present your guidance to your management

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3-5  years of managerial experience within a high performing CPaaS, Communications or API based company.
  • Experience in building teams, managing all monthly forecasting, and can support fiscal planning and revenue tracking for all major accounts.
  • Experience managing a remote team spread across different countries.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets & business objectives.
  • Industry experience in selling CPaaS or SaaS and managing complex sales negotiations
  • Highly analytical and data driven; an innovative thinker and creative problem solver who is naturally curious.
  • A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision to drive results.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working cross-functionally in a high growth business landscape.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent required. MBA a plus (not required)

Desired:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong executive presence
  • Ability to influence and build effective working relationships with all levels of the organisation
  • Proficiency in additional languages would be beneficial
  • Energy and enthusiasm with a willingness to travel

Location

This role will be remotely based in the UK or Ireland

We prioritise connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 25% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way across the region.
