As a W/WW Project Engineer, your day will be dynamic and impactful, contributing directly to the delivery of critical infrastructure projects with minimal oversight. You'll work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, supporting design development, technical analysis, and project coordination. With a high volume of active work, your ability to communicate clearly, manage tasks efficiently, and proactively solve problems will help alleviate pressure on senior staff. Projected salary range of $125,000 - $150,000+.
- Support the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and related systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical solutions, prepare engineering reports, and produce high-quality design documents.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and deadlines, contributing independently with minimal oversight while maintaining alignment with project goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clarity, progress updates, and responsiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in project coordination, budgeting, and scheduling, with a focus on developing the skills and experience needed to transition into a Project Manager role.
- Help alleviate workload pressure on senior staff by proactively identifying needs, solving problems, and delivering reliable engineering support.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4-8 years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in AutoCad and Civil3D software.
This hybrid job operates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines. May require occasional exposure to work environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazard, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.
