Resource Management Analyst

This is a 100% remote position for a 6-month contract. Priority will be given to candidates residing in Pacific Standard Time locations, though we are open to candidates with proven experience supporting PST business hours.

Top required skills:

  • Personnel Data Analytics: This is not HR data or PII, but resource/capacity analysis.
  • Excel: Proficient in data analysis, reconciliation, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
  • Microsoft Power BI: Capable of building insightful, data-driven dashboards and reports.
  • Portfolio Management platforms - Clarizen: Experience with project tracking and portfolio management tools.
  • Resource Management experience: Skilled in headcount planning, allocation, and utilization tracking.
  • Executive Collaboration: Comfortable working with top leadership and managing high-visibility deliverables.
  • Azure DevOps (ADO): Experienced in tracking work items, managing backlogs, and sprint planning as this is our internal planning tool.
  • Job Description

    Resource Management Team – Enterprise Execution: We are a centralized, enterprise-wide function responsible for guiding the company's people resource strategy. Our expertise enables leadership to make informed decisions about which projects the company has the capacity to execute.

    Team Responsibilities:

    • People Resource Strategy: Own and oversee enterprise-wide resource management, including labor hour forecasting, assignment, and time-tracking.
    • Project Staffing & Reporting: Manage resource plans for the company's largest projects, ensuring proper staffing and providing comprehensive reporting. Provide data analysis on an individual project and aggregated level.
    • Process Ownership: Lead the end-to-end resource management process, continuously improving capabilities and efficiencies across the enterprise.

    Soft Skills:

    • Effective Communicator: Lead discussions with project managers, people managers, and shared teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.
    • Detail-Oriented: Deliver highly accurate data and reporting—especially critical for executive-level stakeholders.
    • Process Improvement Leadership: Lead initiatives to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of our enterprise-wide resource management, including requirements gathering and stakeholder collaboration.
    • Independent & Driven: Demonstrate strong initiative, managing responsibilities autonomously while meeting key deadlines.
    • Agile & Adaptable: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, pivoting quickly to support urgent requests.
    • Deadline-Focused: Consistently meet or exceed monthly deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.

    Technical Skills:

    Job Type & Location

    This is a contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
