What's the role? The Head of Surgical Sales will lead the distribution efforts of CZM products in the surgical ophthalmology market. The Head of Surgical Sales is responsible for all sales-related activities including national sales meetings, the National Account Program, and career enhancement programs. The incumbent develops annual expense budgets, revenue plans, and sales strategy.

Additional responsibilities include identifying and developing strategic alliances with complementary companies to broaden our sales opportunities. Maintain and motivate an elite independent or distribution channel. Oversee the development of employees and encourage an open-door environment and fair standards of performance.
Do you qualify? Experienced business leader with BS/BS (MBA preferred) degree or equivalent experience. Normally requires twelve-plus (12 +) years of progressive responsibility in Sales management experience within the medical device industry. Senior sales management experience selling diagnostic and/or surgical products to Ophthalmologists and Optometrists is essential. Experience leading leaders is essential to this role. Having a National Presence will be key to success. Ability to analyze complex situations and make policy decisions on a regular basis. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
