Packaging Engineer

Packaging Applications Engineer

You will be part of the Design Center team at the Protective Packaging Brasil division, working on the development of packaging engineering projects with all the technologies in our portfolio. You will work in partnership with the sales team to understand the protection needs of our customers, develop solutions that deliver value, and ultimately contribute to the realization of the project sale.

Why do we need you?

• To develop projects using all Protective Packaging technologies.
• To prepare samples and send them to customers.
• To provide technical support to the sales team.
• To participate in commercial meetings and follow the evolution of the projects.
• To operate our equipment (with a focus on Autobag systems and shrink films).
• To conduct product demonstrations and tests in our showroom.
• To visit customers and support the development of new projects and performance tests of materials.
• To provide technical support to portfolio and quality areas, conducting tests with new materials and equipment.
• To support the management of equipment inventory as a function of the portfolio of ongoing projects.

What do you need to succeed?

• Skill in manufacturing packaging prototypes with a high level of presentation for customers.
• A mindset of continuous improvement in the processes of the Design Center.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Good communication to meet customers in person or receive them at the PAC.
• Intermediate-advanced English to participate in meetings with international PACs.
