SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented systems engineer to support our programs delivering Next-Generation Missile Warning software. This is a unique opportunity to join a small business delivering core capabilities for National defense. You will work within a fast-paced team delivering end-to-end software processing of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) sensor data for Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Space Domain Awareness, and Technical Intelligence. Candidates will develop, implement, and run engineering processes in support of a large Agile software development program. SciTec seeks a candidate who will thrive in a collaborative environment where they can solve challenging engineering problems in support of critical national security objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models in Cameo System Modeler from software developer and customer input
  • Work with internal stakeholders to generate robust software system requirements
  • Analyze existing requirements to provide implementation guidance to SciTec software developers
  • Create and review system design documents and systems engineering artifacts to deliver high value software to our government customers
  • Analyze and document software for standards conformance and requirement satisfaction
  • Perform risk management analysis on current programs
  • Additional duties as required and assigned
