We are looking for a Data Engineer (H/F). The mission as a Data Engineer will be to build and expand the data platform of our client, used intensively by all internal teams, supporting several areas (BI, Data Insights, Products Analytics, Data Science).

Responsibilities:

• Design effective models for the storage and analysis of terabytes of data.
• Implement complex acquisition and transformation flows.
• Build intelligent data models to serve our product, BI, Insights, and Data Science teams while minimizing costs.
• Develop tools to help our Data Scientists industrialize machine learning projects.
• Work on data quality and reliability to ensure reliable measurements for the entire company.
• Develop our data science platform.
• Industrialize machine learning projects with specialized data scientists.

Technical environments:

• Mastery of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge in data manipulation with tools like SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience in setting up and managing data pipelines with technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of data modeling concepts and data warehousing architecture.
• Familiarity with machine learning tools and techniques for the industrialization of data science projects.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with business partners.

Profile:

• Graduated from an engineering school or a Master's in computer science (Bac + 5) with at least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Mastery of technologies: Python, and databases: SQL and NoSQL.
• In-depth knowledge of best software development practices, such as CI/CD, unit testing, QA, and mock creation.
• Good communicator and able to interact with business, partners, and clients.
• Fluent in English (C1 minimum) and have had the opportunity to practice English professionally.

Technical skills:

• Mastery of databases and SQL
• Mastery of Git and Unix environment.
• Knowledge of streaming technologies (CDC pipelines, stream processing, etc.).
