A SEL is a multinational American company specialized in creating digital products and systems that protect, control, and automate energy systems worldwide. We are looking for an HR Intern to work in the following areas:
Recruitment and Selection:
- Assist in screening resumes, posting job openings, contacting candidates, and conducting initial interviews;
Training:
- Assist in organizing internal and external trainings, managing attendance lists, performance evaluation, and certificates;
Internal Communication:
- Assist in managing and updating internal channels, producing and translating weekly internal communication events.
Support other HR department activities as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
2. Provide support to one or more applied disciplines including, but not limited to, Benefits, Compensation, Compliance, EH&S, Recruiting, and Learning & Development.
3. Modify and update applicant, candidate, employee, and/or organizational data accurately.
4. Respond to applicant, candidate, employee, and/or community inquiries, concerns, and needs.
5. Cross-train with other department members to ensure seamless support of all HR duties.
6. Manage confidential files and other privileged information.
7. Under close supervision, follow area processes and work instructions.
8. Understand. Create. Simplify.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Current student studying Human Resources or related field at an accredited institution
Proficient knowledge of MS Office
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information and data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Human Resources Information Systems
Knowledge of HR laws and practices
