Schedule: Seasonal store operations role will be October 27th to December 27th. Nights and weekends availability is a MUST and ability to work the Friday after Thanksgiving. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Store Operations Responsibilities:
- Unload product from freight boxes. Tag, fold, hang, and stage merchandise for display
- Recover displays including rehanging, refolding, retagging and restocking from backstock
- Assist customers with loading purchased products including curbside pickups
- Ensure registers are filled with proper supplies (bags, journal rolls, etc.)
- Restock consumable displays (pop, candy, etc.) with accuracy and attention to detail
- Organize shopping carts and baskets, wipe down, and disperse between floors
- Assist in managing the collection, organization and packing for storage, clothing hangers from overflow containers
- Correctly distribute items back to the sales floor from register/fitting room returns
- Maintain an orderly appearance of work area, general cleaning and organization around the store and in back stock areas
- Ability to navigate store technology including handheld phones and inventory scanner, Microsoft Office programs, and basic computer knowledge
- Assist with other duties as assigned

Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma, or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work. Scheels cares about the health and safety of our Associates.
