Tasks
- Basic and detail engineering of rail vehicles in the field of mechanics using the 3D-CAD system SolidWorks
- Creation of manufacturing drawings and parts lists
- Setting up and managing article stems and parts lists in CAD
- Creation of welding drawings according to DIN EN 15085
- Checking manufacturing documents and constructions
- Creation of construction and function descriptions
- Technical clarifications with suppliers
- Support external design services from engineering firms
Qualification
- Completed engineering studies or technician training
- Focus on mechanical engineering/rail vehicle technology or mechanical engineering with experience in mechanical design
- Solid knowledge in SolidWorks and office products
- Interdisciplinary and independent working style, team capability, entrepreneurial thinking (cost awareness)
- English skills
- Willingness to travel in and abroad (occasionally)
