Team Lead People Operations

Scalable Capital is a leading digital investment and banking platform with a full banking license and enables people in Europe to manage their finances. Job Description

About Us

As a dynamic, fast-growing fintech, we shape the future of the financial world. Our People Operations team is a central driver for excellent employee experiences and smooth HR processes. We are looking for a dedicated leader to head this area, combining operational excellence and strategic thinking.

Your Tasks

Leadership & Development

  • Leading, developing, and coaching a motivated People Operations team
  • Promoting a collaborative, solution-oriented working style

Operational HR Management

  • Ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management from onboarding to offboarding
  • Responsibility for issues such as contract and amendment management, social benefits, work permissions, payroll, absence management, and employee inquiries

Quality & Compliance

  • Accompanying audits and implementing and monitoring regulatory processes
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal standards

Process Optimization

  • Identifying and implementing improvement and automation potentials
  • Efficient use of existing HR tools and workflows

Internal & External Cooperation

  • Close cooperation with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and department heads
  • Interface to Finance, Legal, IT Support, Information Security, tax authorities, and auditors

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Creation and evaluation of relevant HR metrics
  • Derivation of data-driven action recommendations

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Business Psychology, or similar
  • Several years of experience in operational HR, as well as initial experience in managing employees
  • Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style
  • Enjoyment of combining operational tasks with strategic projects
  • High degree of flexibility, service orientation, commitment, and hands-on mentality
  • Fluent German and English skills in speech and writing
  • Experience in a regulated working environment is an advantage
