Job Description

Wholesale alert analysis: Responsibility for the professional review and assessment of warning messages in the areas of sanctions, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons), and adverse media, taking into account internal and external guidelines.

Structured escalation management: Identification of risk-relevant facts and their qualified forwarding to specialized AFC specialist departments for final decision-making.

Operational excellence: Identification of optimization potentials and participation in the continuous improvement of process efficiency and analysis quality.

KYC & Onboarding-Check: Conducting a thorough document review as part of account opening and ensuring a complete identification of new customers in accordance with applicable KYC standards.

This position is limited to 1 year as a maternity and parental leave replacement.

Qualifications

You bring experience from a position in the AML or KYC area – we also welcome cross-entrants from high-volume environments.

You feel comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.

You possess a strong critical mind and sound decision-making skills.

You have an effective and detail-oriented working style that strikes the perfect balance between quality and quantity.

You have a high personal interest in anti-financial crime; ideally, you have already gained professional experience in a regulated environment.

You are able to prioritize workflows and ensure compliance with deadlines.

You speak fluent German and English (at least C1 level).
