Director of Finance and Support Services
The Finance and Support Services Director provides strategic leadership to ensure the financial strength, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance of Save the Children in Myanmar. The role exists to safeguard organizational resources, uphold robust internal controls, and drive excellence across finance, information technology, and support services functions.
As a core member of the Senior Management Team, the Director enables effective decision making, ensures financial readiness for both development and humanitarian operations, strengthens systems and staff capacity, and creates an enabling environment for high quality program delivery in a complex and evolving context. Through strategic guidance and disciplined oversight, the role ensures that Save the Children Myanmar operates with integrity, transparency, and accountability to children, donors, and partners.
Key areas of accountability include financial leadership and management, information technology, support services (administration & office management), staff management, mentorship and development, strategic leadership, and child safeguarding and counter fraud responsibility.
Qualifications include an advanced degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, or a related field, and senior level professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent. Essential experience includes significant leadership experience in financial management and support services within international NGOs, UN agencies, or large, complex organizations.
