Job Description

Lead the design and management of cloud infrastructure on GCP (compute, storage, networking, databases, IAM, etc.)

Define and build CI/CD pipelines for web, mobile, and backend services (GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, Helm, etc.)

Architect and manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters for scalable and fault-tolerant deployments

Implement and enforce infrastructure-as-code (IaC) best practices

Design robust monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Stackdriver

Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to ensure systems meet regulatory, availability, and performance standards

Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and system reliability improvements

Support zero-downtime deployments & promote DevSecOps principles across the team

Mentor junior DevOps engineers and actively contribute to internal documentation

Requirements

6–8 years of total DevOps/SRE experience, with at least 4 years on GCP

Deep expertise in Terraform, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and CI/CD automation

Proven experience with GitOps workflows, secrets management, and secure service-to-service communication

Strong understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, DNS, SSL/TLS, and VPC configuration

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Stackdriver

Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go) for automation and tooling

Familiarity with cloud security best practices including IAM, firewalls, encryption, and policy enforcement

Exposure to fintech or regulated environments is a strong plus

Experience with compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, DFSA, etc.)

Hands-on with Cloud Armor, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, or GCP's financial services toolkit

Prior contributions to high-availability systems serving 100k+ users

Knowledge of DevSecOps, threat modeling, and incident response protocols

Open-source contributions or internal tooling built at scale
