Job Description

Write clean, maintainable code for backend services using Node.js

Assist in building and maintaining REST APIs and server-side logic

Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and help structure efficient data models

Collaborate with frontend, QA, product, and senior engineering teammates in agile sprints

Contribute to unit/integration testing, debugging, and issue resolution

Document your work and participate in code reviews

Continuously learn and improve technically and professionally

Requirements

1–2 years of backend development experience, with hands-on experience in Node.js

Understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), Express.js, and RESTful APIs

Basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Familiar with Git, GitHub, and collaborative development workflows

Curious and quick learner with a genuine interest in backend systems and clean architecture

Able to work in a fast-paced, agile team and communicate clearly

Positive attitude, willingness to ask questions, and openness to feedback

Exposure to cloud services (GCP, Firebase, AWS)

Basic understanding of microservices, queues, or Docker

Built or contributed to personal or open-source projects

Interest in fintech, personal finance, or consumer apps
