Food Service Associate is responsible for two primary roles, Starter and Dishwashing. They are also responsible for initial tray set-up of patient room service trays and for washing dishes upon return of trays. They must properly clean, sanitize, and maintain service, preparation, and delivery areas and equipment in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Hours: 16 hours/week; second shift
Required: Food handler's certification within 30 days of hire
Pay: Based on experience, starting at $16.14
Complies with sanitation regulations and standards established by all regulatory agencies.
Effectively participates in tray assembly of cold ticket items. May assist with hot items as needed.
Ensures that all foods are covered, labeled, dated and timed in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
Ensures that all necessary items are located on the meal tray as it starts on the tray line. (Proper tray type, silverware, condiments, etc.)
Ensures that returned trays / dishes are washed and sanitized promptly.
Maintains the safe operation of all food service equipment.
May assist in Basement Bistro as needed – serving, cleaning, cashiering.
Records and monitors all quality control indicators.
Stocks all food supplies in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Sweeps department.
