DevOps Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Expert to join our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions that ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve the reliability of our services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures that ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using best practices and industry standards, with a focus on site reliability engineering principles.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud solutions are aligned with business objectives and contribute to the overall stability of our services.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security to maintain high availability and robustness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development teams, emphasizing SRE practices and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and continuously improve the scalability and efficiency of our systems.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of cloud environments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations, and proactively address potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on service quality.

What you bring:

• Strong understanding of software architecture and cloud infrastructure principles and best practices.
• Proven experience in designing, managing and optimizing cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge
• Strong Linux administration knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of Prometheus and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring and logging.
• Excellent experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of security and identity management in cloud environments.
• Earned at least one of the following certificates: Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Foundation.
• Other certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in DevOps/SRE engineer or a similar role.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering and maintaining cloud-based solutions.
