Your Responsibilities

Shape the future of Delos Cloud with: In this forward-thinking role, you will play a key role in the establishment and further development of the Azure-based and sovereign Delos Cloud. As a Service Owner Azure, you will drive the strategic direction and further development of the sovereign cloud platform, ensuring that it meets the specific requirements of the German public administration.

Responsibility with foresight: You will define the service strategy for Azure in the Delos Cloud and take overall responsibility for the service lifecycle, with a division of the entire Azure service portfolio into service groups (e.g., compute/storage, network, data, or application services). From planning and implementation to operation and optimization of the corresponding service group, everything lies in your hands.

Interface between business and IT: As a link between the departments of the public administration and the IT teams of Microsoft, you will ensure that the needs of the customers are heard and incorporated into the cloud solution.

Cooperation and communication: You will maintain close relationships with all stakeholders, both internally at Delos Cloud, at Microsoft, and externally with the authorities and ministries. Through transparent communication and proactive action, you will build trust and promote cooperation.

Innovation driver: You will stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cloud technology and identify new potentials for the Delos Cloud. With your innovative spirit and expertise, you will drive the further development of the platform.

What You Should Bring

Azure expert: You have in-depth expertise in the Azure platform and are familiar with the various services and functions, preferably with specialized expertise in one of the service groups.

Strategic thinking: You have an ausgeprägtes strategic thinking and are able to translate the needs of the public administration into a future-oriented cloud strategy.

Leadership personality: With your communicative nature and enthusiastic demeanor, you motivate teams and lead them successfully to the goal.

Negotiation skills: You are a skilled negotiator and can represent the interests of Delos Cloud towards third parties.

ITIL knowledge: ITIL procedures are familiar to you and you apply them in your daily work.

Cloud enthusiast: You are passionate about cloud technology and excited about the opportunity to shape the digital transformation of the public administration.

Very good knowledge of the German and English languages.
