The impact you will generate

Santander Tecnología is looking for a SR Software Engineer based in Buenos Aires to join the team of Virtual Assistants within the CoE of AI.

The purpose of the role is to design, develop, and evolve complex technological products, ensuring quality, scalability, and compliance with the bank's architecture standards.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading the technical design, development, and implementation of critical services and components.
• Designing and integrating scalable APIs and microservices under cloud environments (AWS).
• Technically guiding developers and ensuring good engineering practices.
• Collaborating with architects and project leaders on design and performance decisions.
• Participating in code reviews, automated testing, and quality control.
• Implementing automation and continuous deployment (CI/CD) solutions.

The following requirements represent the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies for this position:

• +4 years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
• Dominance of one or more languages: Java, Node.js, Python or .NET.
• Experience in microservices architectures and REST APIs.
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker).

Desirable:

• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and SQL.
• Participation in generative AI projects and associated frameworks.
• Knowledge of Lex (AWS) or other conversational agent platforms.
• Experience in API integration, automation, and deployments in the cloud.
