Investment Operations Analyst

Santander Alternative Investments is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst for our offices in Boadilla del Monte.

What will you do in your job?

As an Investment Operations Analyst, your objective will be to coordinate the operations of the different investment vehicles, from transactions to valuations and reporting.

We need someone like you to help us in different areas:

  • Support all activities corresponding to the assigned units.
  • Help us develop, control, and analyze the main financial KPIs of the different financial providers.
  • Analysis of the evolution of financial revenues/expenses. Calculation of NAV (net asset value).
  • Proposal and follow-up of the implementation of initiatives to improve the financial flow.
  • Coordination with third parties.
  • Payments, tracking of invoices, tax review, capital calls, distributions...

Experience

  • Experience of approximately 3-4 years in accounting, operations, or middle office, preferably in functions with financial content and related to ECR (accounting, management control, treasury, taxes, etc.).
  • Experience with financial structures in Luxembourg will be valued.

Education

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.

Skills & Knowledge

  • High capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously (multitasking).
  • Agility to learn quickly complex technical aspects.
  • Very high level of English, since more than 50% of the daily work will be done in this language.
  • Additional training valued: CFA, master’s degree in Finance, or equivalent training.
