Fundação Santander | Strategy & Business Development Manager
The Fundação Santander aims to promote a fairer, more inclusive, and sustainable society through investment in education and social mobility. We are looking for a Strategy & Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying the main social challenges in Portugal, designing effective operational models, measuring results, proposing scalable solutions, and fostering strategic partnerships while considering the current physical space of the Foundation, ensuring alignment with the Foundation's mission.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the project of remodeling the Foundation's physical space, ensuring articulation with different stakeholders and effective project management;
- Contribute to the definition of the strategy and find/maintain the right partners;
- Design the operational model of action and measure KPIs;
- Synthesize and present the action plans and follow-up of the foundation's impact;
- Make proposals for the scalability of the foundation's impact;
- Utilize digital platforms and create foundation CRM;
- Define the advocacy strategy with public and state authorities to improve the level of education in the country;
- Design the strategy, in interaction with the People and Culture area, among other areas of the Bank, of growth and engagement of Santander employees, clients, and partners;
- Define and implement the strategies of collaboration and cooperation with other foundations and companies of the third sector;
- Prepare regular presentations of the activity follow-up.
Requirements
- Experience in projects of remodeling physical spaces, including coordination with public entities and suppliers;
- Ability to act with autonomy, critical sense, and technical rigor;
- Institutional articulation skills to define advocacy strategies and foster partnerships with public entities, foundations, and third-sector companies;
- Strategic and analytical vision to identify the main social problems in Portugal and define priority areas of action for the Foundation;
- Planning and execution capacity to design operational models, measure KPIs, and propose scalable solutions of impact;
- Experience in managing social projects and building narratives aligned with the institutional mission;
- Interest in social impact and the promotion of culture.
