IT MIS Specialist

We are looking for an IT MIS Specialist based in our MX office, with at least 3 years of experience in Control Testing, IT Risk, IT compliance or IT Audit.

Your Role

We are looking for an IT MIS Specialist based in our MX office, a key team in our technology ecosystem.

This area is responsible for:

  • Governance of KRIs and KPIs that helps on the measurement of IT Risk or IT performance on control executions.
  • Develop and enforce management policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with global and local policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their metrics management needs and provide guidance and support in establishing accurate measurements.
  • Support other Corporate Risk initiatives including client regulatory support as needed
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the metrics to identify areas for improvement on measurements, implement enhancements to metrics definition.
  • Conduct regular metric quality assurance exercises to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data used for reporting and analysis.
  • Train and support end-users in utilizing the MIS effectively, providing guidance on data entry, extraction, and interpretation.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Execution in timely manner of QA and Annual review program across different IT teams
  • Work with different SME's in order to address any issue or difference found during QA or Annual Review until gets solved.
  • Work with different SME's in order to understand any new metric requirement and work to implement the metrics on timely manner.
  • Address any requirement related to Internal Audit (evidence, list of metrics applicable, etc)
  • Identification of continuous breaches on metrics and work with SME's in order to create action plans to correct the deviation
  • Work closely with 2LoD and /or 3LoD to prepare answer for any requirement related with metrics.

If you think you've got what it takes, these are the key skills we'll be looking for in your CV:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Engineer.
  • Information Technology/Auditing background with at least 3 years of experience in internal controls, consulting, advisory, and professional services.
  • Must possess depth of experience in infrastructure technology, systems development, audit, and risk management.
  • Ability to multi-task, work effectively in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication in English (Minimum B2)
  • Able to identify and summarize audit issues, as well as create meaningful and successful audit reports.
