The impact you will generate

Santander Tecnología is looking for an AI JR Software Engineer based in Buenos Aires to join the Virtual Assistants Team of the AI CoE.

The purpose of the role is to participate in innovative technology projects, including cloud solutions and artificial intelligence. You will join an interdisciplinary team to collaborate in the development and maintenance of software components of our digital products.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate in the development of new functionalities under the guidance of more senior profiles.
• Implement clean and well-documented code.
• Perform unit tests and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to technical documentation and support in deployment processes.
• Participate in automation, AI, and cloud APIs projects.

The following requirements represent the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies for this position.

• Professional experience: +1 year of experience in software development (Required)
• Experience or training: MongoDB, Redis, and SQL (Desirable)
• Participation: Automation or cloud deployments (Desirable)
• Education: Students of engineering, computer science, systems analysis, or related fields (Desirable)
• Languages: Intermediate English (B1 – B2) (Desirable)
• Technical skills: Basic knowledge in Java, Node.js, Python, or .NET (Required)
• Familiarity: Relational and non-relational databases (Required)
• Understanding: Concepts of APIs and cloud services (Required)
• Interest: Generative AI or conversational assistants (Lex, Dialogflow, etc.) (Required)
• Interpersonal skills: Proactive attitude, continuous learning, and collaborative work
