Vice President, Banking & Corporate Finance, Southeast Asia

Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of global corporate and investment banking clients headquartered in SE Asia.
Good client contacts with strong ability to bring new client relationships to Santander, especially companies in the core and core plus infrastructure sector.
Confidence and experience in driving conversations with senior client executives to be a trusted advisor and originate mutually beneficial new businesses.
Identify and originate business opportunities with clients in conjunction with relevant business partners in Santander's network countries to service the requirements of the clients.
Prepare client business plan, budget and risk proposals. Monitor the risk exposure and credit standing of clients in the portfolio, as well as the profitability of client relationships to Santander (based on internal prescribed performance matrices).
Strong first line of defence to ensure that all activities undertaken comply with internal and external standards and compliance requirements, including KYCs and sound risk profile of client portfolio.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing top tier corporate and investment clients headquartered in Southeast Asia and Australia.
Self starter with good initiative and high motivation.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Adept at multi-tasking, logical reasoning and detail-oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills. Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
Good command of credit and experience with investment banking products such as M&A, Advisory, ECM, Strategic Equity Solutions, DCM, Structured Finance.
Bachelor degree and above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related disciplines. CFA qualification is a plus.
