An exciting journey awaits, if you are interested in exploring the possibilities. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting various departments. You will focus on learning how our organization runs.

The intern will assist the Fund Advisory and Fund Selection area during the development of a project to maintain updated information related with mutual funds and ETFs such as fact sheets, prospectus, presentations, etc. that will serve as input to perform reports to the team. Also will support the team with creation of investment ideas marketing material to be distributed to bankers and advisors.

To generate investment ideas, as well as to provide financial advice in the form of a proposal, the intern will perform financial and economic research, participate in meetings with senior members of the team. Participate in conference call and/or meetings with fund managers taking notes to generate a detailed summary and update of the performance, composition and analysis of main detractors and contributors of the strategy.

The objective will be acquired deepness understanding of mutual funds and ETFs, including types of strategies, asset class, managers, vehicles, share classes, exchanges, etc.; how to perform an analysis within different metrics, time horizon, performance evaluation. Learn portfolio construction, asset allocation and market analysis to advise on client’s portfolio.

Bachelor’s in finance, economics or business. Knowledge of financial markets. Strong analytics and research attributes. Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point. Familiarity with financial software such as Bloomberg, Tableau. Proficient in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.

It would be nice for you to have:

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
