The impact you will generate

Banco Santander México is looking for a Branch Teller dual in Merida, Yucatan.

Objective of the position

We are redefining the way we work through innovation, the latest technology, collaboration, and the freedom to explore new ideas.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Attending comprehensively at the window the deposit services
  • Payment of checks
  • Providing quality service and acting in accordance with the regulations and guidelines established by the bank
  • Cash management
  • Promotion of financial products
  • Cash cuts
  • Check validation

Professional experience

  • 1 year in similar positions

Education

  • Bachelors in economic-administrative areas

Technical skills

  • Counting, detection of counterfeit bills, and money reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services
  • Accounts, cards, deposits, withdrawals, investments, etc.
  • Domination of banking systems and internal platforms
  • Use of systems such as Bansefi, internal Santander applications, basic Excel, and transactional systems.
  • Regulatory compliance and internal policies
  • Knowledge of regulations such as PLD (Money Laundering Prevention) and data confidentiality.
  • Customer service and service processes
  • Opening and closing of cash, shift management, and window service.
  • Basic digital tools management
  • Use of corporate email, intranet, registration tools, and consultation.
  • Banking security and control of operations
  • Procedures for unusual or suspicious operations.
  • Report and reconciliation of daily operations
  • Preparation of end-of-day reports and control of documents.
