Santander Digital Services is the technology and operations team of Santander. We are convinced of the importance of technology aligned with business needs and that our work not only adds value to users, people, and communities but also fosters individual creativity. Santander Digital Services is looking for a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer based in Madrid (Edificio Luca de Tena) with at least 2 years of experience in executing technology projects.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
- Development of applications and technical solutions.
- Application of best practices in development, automated testing, and deployment.
- Ensuring that the software has the necessary quality, both in maintenance and in new developments.
- Translating technical requirements into programming languages and the required parameters to create the software solution.

The following requirements represent the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies for this position.
Professional Experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a developer and technology solutions analyst (Required)
- Knowledge in Java, Angular, SQL (Required).
- Previous experience in Banco Santander’s technology environment (Desirable).
Education
- Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or related university degrees.
- Higher Vocational Training in technological fields.
Languages
- B2 level English or higher (Desirable)
Technical Skills (Hard Skills)
- Knowledge of Angular and backend Java programming languages (Darwin).
- Knowledge of frameworks such as React, Spring, Spring boot.
- Knowledge of DevOps such as Jira, Jenkins, Git, Github.
- Experience working with platform monitoring, planning, and process automation platforms, microservices, and Agile/Lean methodologies.
- Technical-functional knowledge of savings and investment products and processes.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiar with Agile working methods. Communicative abilities and orientation towards results and working collaboratively with Business and Operations teams.
Interpersonal Skills (Soft Skills)
- Familiar with agile working methodologies: SCRUM, KANBAN,…
- Result-oriented. Execution of initiatives with a focus on the fulfillment of OKRs.
- Proactivity, good communication skills, and a positive attitude.
