The Victim Services Division (VSD) of the San Francisco District Attorney's Office strives to make the criminal justice system humane and accessible by providing support and assistance to victims and their families in the aftermath of a crime, during criminal prosecution, and after a verdict has been reached.
The Office Coordinator is a public-facing, in-person position in the Victim Services Division (VSD). Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Victim Services, the Office Coordinator is primarily responsible for the intake, guidance, and coordination of resources for individuals seeking assistance. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness in order to successfully manage the day-to-day operations of the division.

Minimum Qualifications Requires a minimum of 2 years of training, education, and/or experience in social welfare, behavioral science, criminology, psychology, or a closely related field and responsible social service, criminal justice, or advocacy experience.
Desired Qualifications Ability to maintain highly confidential and time-sensitive information. Proven to have excellent communication skills. Strong written communication skills for data entry purposes. Experience with U-visas and knowledge of the criminal justice system. Bi-lingual in Spanish desired. Demonstrates respectful, clear, and concise communication. Ability to work collaboratively and be a supportive team player. Ability to make independent and informed decisions. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
