Account Manager Opportunity

As AWS continues to rapidly grow, we seek experienced and talented Account Managers to own, operate, and help define GTM strategy for a named set of accounts within Enterprise customers. These accounts will have complex infrastructure requirements and you will be selling into multiple lines of business within each account. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in our largest and fastest growing accounts. In this role you will influence customers to build, shape and accelerate their AWS business. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to be part of a fast growing and entrepreneurial organization, bringing innovation and fresh perspectives to customers and prospects.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Leading a customer obsessed business that delights our customers
  • Accelerating customer adoption through a comprehensive GTM strategy to achieve customer outcomes
  • Driving market share while achieving/exceeding revenue and non-revenue goals
  • Demonstrating a history of executing complex deals
  • Creating and articulating compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Leveraging relationships with internal stakeholders to further adoption of AWS services in your customer base
  • Developing and working with partners to extend reach and drive adoption

Basic qualifications include:

  • 7+ years of technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services experience
  • Experience in executive level engagement with SVP/VP/C-Suite

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of enterprise tech sales experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
