As a Machine Learning Engineer at Uber, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) and Routing models that power Uber's Rides & Delivery Marketplace globally. Accurate ETA and route predictions across geographies, transportation modalities and lines of business is fundamental for the company's operations and growth which makes this position both technically challenging and highly impactful. Your responsibilities will include building and productionizing deep learning models that provide accurate and scalable time predictions, thereby enhancing the customer experience for Uber's millions of users. You will own the entire modeling lifecycle, which encompasses feature creation, model development and testing, experimentation, monitoring, explainability, and ongoing model maintenance. You will also work on backend services that serve ETA and routing predictions at scale. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$198,000 per year - USD$220,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
