Senior Android Engineer
EPAM is seeking a Senior Android Engineer with deep expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack to join our team, working directly with a leading client in the high-tech sector. You will be part of a foundational platform team whose work supports all Android application development across the client's organization. Responsibilities include:
- Build and enhance core platform components used by all Android teams within the client's organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new competencies and platform needs
- Work closely with component development teams to communicate requirements and enhancements
- Modify and advance the list of platform components to meet evolving requirements
- Define and communicate the types of notifications and features needed to satisfy platform and application requirements
- Apply for and manage titles of work related to platform enhancements and new competencies
Requirements include:
- Senior-level experience in Android development, with a strong focus on Kotlin and Jetpack
- Proven experience building or enhancing foundational platform components for large-scale Android applications
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with distributed teams and external component developers
- Experience specifying requirements and coordinating with other engineering teams
- Familiarity with notification systems and platform-level feature development

This Remote Position Cannot be Performed in New York City. Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000.
