Sandvik Mining is looking for a Sales And Service Representative – Drilling Tools (TSSR). Office: Val-d'Or (territory to cover: Abitibi / flexibility regarding place of residence in the region).

We currently have a position for Sales And Service Representative – Drilling Tools (TSSR). In this field role, you will support our growing clientele in Eastern Canada by providing on-site technical expertise, optimizing the performance of drilling tools, and representing a globally recognized brand for safety, reliability, and innovation. You will work closely with mining site personnel to improve productivity, extend tool life, and help clients achieve the lowest total cost of operation.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell Sandvik drilling tools, consumables, and service solutions in an assigned territory.
  • Provide high-quality on-site technical support: troubleshooting, optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Establish strong and lasting relationships with operators, supervisors, and managers of mining sites.
  • Determine client needs and recommend solutions that improve safety, productivity, and tool life.
  • Maintain existing business relationships while actively developing new opportunities.
  • Use Sandvik digital tools and reporting systems to gather performance data and business insights.
  • Plan weekly and monthly activities to achieve service excellence and business objectives.
  • Develop new opportunities across the entire Eastern Canada territory.
  • Support continuous improvement by sharing customer feedback and market trends with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional value and optimal operational support.

What You Will Bring:

  • Technical training or practical experience in the mining, drilling, or related industries.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of customer service.
  • Ability to work autonomously in remote environments while managing a vast territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and availability for frequent travel.

Assets:

  • Experience with drilling tools, drilling applications, or DTH, Top Hammer, or Rotary systems.
  • Technical sales or field service experience.
  • Mineral Worker Modular Training (FMTM).
  • Valid explosives permit.
  • Bilingualism in French/English.

  • Respect Sandvik’s health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Participate in all required training and wear mandatory PPE during visits to Sandvik or client sites.
