At Seco Tools, we have a company culture symbolized by genuine family spirit and personal commitment in our customers’ everyday lives. Our strong value base also gives us a common vision on the business which unites our employees across both geographical and cultural boundaries.

Important focus areas in the coming years are to increase the automation level and to implement various digitalization and visualization solutions in our cutting production. We therefore need to strengthen our team with you who want to be part of developing the future factory and implementing the latest digital technology in our production systems.

Job duties

In this role, you are responsible for the connection of our machines and production equipment to our production data platform (PDP) for the production unit in Fagersta. Together with our production engineers, you work to identify and connect the most relevant signals for streaming data from our production processes.

You collaborate with surrounding units such as IT, Maintenance, and our global Operations organization which spans across our various production units in the world.

You work at our office in Fagersta and have the opportunity to combine office presence with working from home a few days a week.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have an engineering degree combined with knowledge and curiosity in digitalization and application of new technology, preferably in a production environment. You have knowledge of industrial communication protocols, networks, software, and system development within, for example, C# and Python.
