Are you ready for a varied job with a high degree of independence? Do you also have both interest and experience in working with mechanics and technology? Then this could be the job for you!
At Sandvik Rock Processing in Svedala, we are now looking for a service technician to work with our crushing and sorting machines for our customers in Skåne. You will work remotely and a service car is included in the job.
About the Job
With flexibility and a sense of service, you will work independently to visit our customers and help them with starting up new and maintaining existing machines. This is a great opportunity to learn about our machines and products in depth. Your tasks will include replacing wear parts in the machines, performing inspections, and troubleshooting and resolving faults, and you will sell aftermarket concepts in a way that benefits both us and our customers in the long term. You will work closely with your manager and be part of a cohesive team where we plan the work together and support each other as needed.
About You
We are looking for someone who has experience working with mechanics and industrial electronics, for example in a role as a field service technician – or perhaps you have worked with forklift truck service, forestry machinery or as a mechanic in the military. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, and have good computer skills and B/C driving license. Since we work with both local and international customers, you need to have good language skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
We place great importance on your personal qualities, which are distinguished by your solid sense of customer service and your solution-focused ability. You are a driven and curious person, and you benefit greatly from your genuine interest in mechanics and technology. With your technical knowledge and reassuring manner, you create easily good, long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our customers. You also dare to question reasoning and propose improvement measures. Since documentation of your work is part of the job, we also see that you are structured and orderly.
Our Culture
At Sandvik, we work with advanced technology and exciting innovations, but it is our employees who find the real key to success. We are convinced that diversity creates a better environment and that inclusion is a prerequisite for achieving good results. This means that we support each other, share knowledge and welcome everyone’s differences. Want to know more about us? We suggest a visit to our homepage, LinkedIn or Facebook.
