Service Technician Position in Garpenberg, Sweden

About You: In this role, you are our face to the outside and it is therefore important that you like meeting people, creating relationships, and collaborating. Service, commitment, and flexibility are the foundation of your personality. You think about safety in all situations and have a good reputation when moving on site with our customers – order and cleanliness are a and o.

For us, it is most important to find the right person for the team, so previous experience in similar work within the mining industry is meritorious. Through internal courses and trainings with our manufacturers, we ensure that you become a specialist in our mobile mining machines and you spend your first time with an experienced colleague. You need a valid B-driving license and good knowledge in Swedish – and we would like to see that you have a technical secondary education. Since we work with some global contacts, it is a big advantage to have knowledge in other languages than Swedish, for example English.

About the Job: As our representative on the field, you take full responsibility for servicing and maintaining our customers’ mobile mining machines underground, as well as solving the problems that arise. Through close cooperation and good relationships with our customers, you understand their needs and can offer the right alternatives among our many solutions. You work continuously to improve and develop our processes, machines, and products, which gives you great opportunities to put your own stamp on the business.

In addition, your job duties include:

• Technical support to sales team and colleagues.
• Documentation of results, works, repairs, and downtimes.
• Compliance with safety regulations.

The location for this job is in central Sweden near the mining areas. Travel is included in the job.
